Story of Flyvines
Flyvines products are an innovative solution to one of fly-fishing’s chief environmental hindrances: fly line. At Flyvines, we recycle used fly-fishing line to create lanyards, sunglass retainers, bracelets, key chains, dog products and other outdoors accessories. Each product is hand braided, and as such, each piece is one of a kind. Across the northwest, Flyvines has quickly become the go-to lanyard and sunglass retainers for guides, outfitters, and environmentally conscious anglers. Whether you’re a minimalist using our lanyard for your floatant and hemostats or a gear junkie storing a small fly shops worth of gear around your neck, Flyvines lanyards keep anglers better prepared and at the ready. Flyvines is run by a small handful of fly-fishing industry professionals here in Montana who wanted to do their part to impact our sport in a positive way. We are proud of what we do and we hope you enjoy our products!
Uniqueness of the Product
At Flyvines we are committed to keeping our product made in the USA, we employee all stay at home moms in Missoula, MT, which make each of our products unique! Each product is made by hand, and each product is made with a recycled raw material, that is unique in itself. We receive the raw material of fly line from individual anglers across the country, from all of our fly shops, and from the large fly line companies, who were previously burning, or dumping it in to a landfill.
