The PAS vertical straightener is an electromechanical machine specifically designed to straighten short and medium-length shafts.

It features an innovative C-shaped frame and a movable table for holding workpieces, making it ideal for producing both large quantities of parts and smaller batches.

Force is generated through recirculating ball screws, which apply axial pressure to the workpiece, ensuring robustness, durability, and speed efficiency.

The machine's design allows access from three sides, keeping the front of the machine clear for changeover operations and maintenance by the operator. The table includes oscillating half-round anvils for workpiece support, which are floating and spring-loaded, allowing them to perfectly adapt to the workpiece surface and accommodate angular variations during the pressing process.

PAS machines offer a superior technical solution for straightening, achieving accurate tolerances in short cycle times. The critical points of the workpiece are measured through rotation using transducers. The straightening process is fully automated and performed by pressing the outside diameter of the workpiece with a punch.

All components are monitored and controlled, and production statistics generated by the machine's software record essential data such as cycle time and initial and final tolerances. Changeovers can be performed without operator intervention, and the PAS straightening model is designed for easy integration into existing production lines.
